Amazing he was a Noble man the only other person I know of with long lineage but not recorded is Gingus Khan <spelling? Point is only by accident when they were on the path of DNA ancestral roots for each country did they discover that just about everyone in Mongolia is related to him. lol the man got around or womenizer / player whatever.

I've been working with my family tree for over 10 years and visited the Family History Library of the LDS church in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm not LDS but they were amazingly helpful. Familysearch.org is a good way to get started and it is free.
