I was stung once by a small scorpion on my finger. Very strange sensation . Total numbness for that finger. Went away after several days. I can see how it might have use as a pain medication.

So why a picture of lip gloss? Feel sorry for the scorpions. Are they forced to keep giving venom, or maybe killed?

Drank some particular 'home brew' in upcountry Thailand that included fermented scorpions - 1 shot and I was staggering !!!

"El Lento", The sentence makes sense if you insert the word "and" after the word predator. somebody left out that word.

". . . against predators to paralise and kill their prey?" Why would they paralise their predator's prey? That would be like caring for them! Helping them, and feeding them. Who would be dumb enough to help its predators? And, still be against them!
