I was stung once by a small scorpion on my finger. Very strange sensation . Total numbness for that finger. Went away after several days. I can see how it might have use as a pain medication.

So why a picture of lip gloss? Feel sorry for the scorpions. Are they forced to keep giving venom, or maybe killed?

ATS, there are special facilities for venom collection that are heavily regulated. The animals are well taken care of and monitored, as healthy animals will live longer and produce more venom. The venom is collected in a way that does not harm them.
