Which bird traditionally represents or accompanies Athena?

I knew this answer because of the classic movie, "Clash of the Titans".

there is a little owl on the one dollar bill, you need a magnifying glass to see far right top corner.

It is the ancient Greeks and their goddess Athena who give us the connection between wisdom and the owl.
