just watched the new year fireworks out of my window guess everyone is glad to be rid of 2020.

That can't be good for the environment, air quality. What a waste of money, this is worse than resources spent on bigger floats for the Rose Parade. You see 10 fireworks, you've seen them all.

Mrs busybody, likewise here in New Zealand. Though only sold for a few days a year, people stockpile the fireworks and they go off all year long. My dogs hate them and tremble with fear. Backyard fireworks have had their day! Public displays only imo.
