Gator, Agreed!! I once had a Japanese immigrant collegue who was a child when Hiroshima was bombed. She and her husband chose to take the very long ocean cruise through the Panama Canal instead of going to San Francisco for the sole purpose of seeing the Statue of Liberty. She said they cried. Ok, so just maybe it was necessary to finally end WWII, as Japanese committment to home and country was virtually insurmountable. But in so many ways I feel ashamed by those actions America resorted to. We as a country and people are so arrogant and judgmental. Native "American?" Indians were and are being denigrated by us "immigrants". My Italian grandparents emigrated here in 1900. Not indigenous!!!
