What kind of lake is Mono Lake in California?

People might recognize it from Cinderella 's " Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone " video

what a wonderful vacation spot/idea for a birdwatcher! I used to love seeing roseate spoon bills in the Tampa Bay area.

I would like to visit this place. It sounds amazing!
