Another wonderful question. Travels with Charlie was required reading in 7th grade—I loved the book. I now proudly live in “Steinbeck Country” which inspired much of his writing (Monterey Bay Area, CA).

I love all of John Steinbeck’s books. Some of them like “The Red Pony” were real tearjerkers.
