Spectraaus, I agree. As it is, the obvious answer was obscured. Definitely not in the last 20 years. The last century was busy with world wars. 10th century France? No, my quick guess was 14th to 19th century (as in XIV to XIX).

Why would centuries be written in Roman numerals? There’s no reason for that. Usually it’d be a year written in RN if you’re trying to be fancy but not centuries.
