In 1995 I got to ride on the bobsled track in Norway that was used for the 1994 Winter Olympics. It was summertime, they outfitted the bobsled with wheels to run on the track. As I recall the speed reached a maximum of 40 mph (it was in posted in km) which still was a very enjoyable experience.
