I find this absolutely fascinating. Both of my parents and 6 of my siblings were all right handed. Only one sister was left handed. I'm totally against forcing a naturally left handed child to learn how to write with the right hand.

I am ambidextrous. can write very well with either hand, switch hands easily doing work and chores. Sports the same except i have more power with left hand throwing ball but when hitting with bat more power standing right of pitcher.

SOS, I can write with both hands as well as upsidedown and mirror image or backward. We have 4 children, two are right handed and two are left handed but use their right hands for certain things like scissors etc.

I am ambidextrous and my daughter was left-handed till she went to school. She saw everyone using the right and she switched over. But even today she writes with her right although she uses her left as well.
