What color is a black hole?

Isn't black defined as the absence or complete absorption of light, making that a legitimate answer? I knew which to choose though.

It is called a black hole because it appears black. Does empty stellar space appear any less black? To appease the technical should it be renamed a dark hole, a nonreflective ultragravitational space entity?

We know so much. The only logical conclusion is that life is meaningless. There is no good or bad. There is just nothing.
