In 1979 I wrote a letter to Felipe Rose the original Native American in the group I put my number at the bottom never thinking I would ever hear from him. One morning out of the blue he called we had a long talk we became fast friends he sent letters to me from all over the world. Finally they came to my city after the show he surprised me by giving me one of his headdress he wore on stage that night we took a limo drive to Denny's the only restaurant open after midnight I met the other members there. Felipe insisted on riding in my car with me to my house with the limo following us he actually came to my house and met my mother to this day I still can't believe how magical he made my night we kept in touch for a long time and once I got married and had children we lost touch he's a great guy I'll never forget it
