I am not in favor of breeding to accentuate a genetic mutation. Sphinx cats are mutants. They suffer due to what has been done to them. It's the same for Brachycephalic dogs. Someone got a puppy with a particularly short nose and started breeding for it. Today, these dogs' snouts are in the back of the throats. It's why they snore, snort, and sneeze. They can't run and play normally because they can't breathe properly. Man has a serious problem with taking things too far without regard for the resulting suffering.

It was a cruel crime to breed these poor cats. And all cats can get sunburn especially on their ears, the paler the coat the more vulnerable they are. All cats sweat too, especially through their pads and all cats pant when they are stressed severely.

wouldn't any animal be able to technically get a sunburn if it stayed in the direct sun long enough?
