In case anyone is wondering, the leatherback grows up to 7 feet long and over 1500 pounds. They are also a vulnerable species. Estimates of their life expectancy range from 9-20 years up to 45-50 years, no one is sure. One things for sure the way we're destroying this planet there probably won't be any reaching those longest years in the future.
