Patty Duke did a TV remake of the movie in 1979. The difference being that she played Anne Sullivan.

Great movie an excellent acting on this one.

I read the book about Annie Sullivan when I was in 6th grade; " Helen Keller's Teacher. I was in a production of The Miracle Worker in Jr. high but played Helen's mother. Still, it made me learn ASL. 😊
