Reading through the comments I've learn things I never knew about the Amazon. It also makes me realize that technology has done more harm to our planet then good .Yes it has done marvelous things for the medical field but the intellectual and spiritual is declining

the golden player, actually the river got its name first when Spanish explorers in the 1500s reported seeing fierce women warriors similar to the Amazons in Greek mythology so they named the river 'Amazon river'.
