if its a very cleaver witty remark it's either Twain, Churchill or Wilde I just pick their names if there there, I'm stuffed if their names all appear on the same quote 😄

The answer says there is no proof to be found that Twain said this. Kinda like back when quotes by Andy Rooney were frequently and erroneously attributed to him. Do not believe everything you read as fact.

A solid USA citizen, I never believed my vote would matter if it was contrary to what political powers wanted it to be. The belief was cemented in my mind 4ever when in Florida I cast my first ever vote for Al Gore, which vote was among the thousands not counted that election year. Have not voted ever again.
