In which U.S. state is the landmark Garden of the Gods located?

The Colorado Springs area is very beautiful with a lot to take in. My wife and I were at the Garden of the Gods one March when it began to snow. Very surreal. I'm from Texas, and we don't see a lot of snow, until this past February. We saw enough snow and icy weather to last me a long time. I was never so happy to see the grass appear again.

There is a Garden of the Gods in southern Illinois too.
