I've eaten one. It was absolutely revolting. And yes, it tasted of hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.
Funny thing though. I got a strong feeling of well being afterwards. Especially when my mate handed me the hundred $$ he bet that I couldn't eat it. There's your "century"!
