The first time I ever saw ballet was when I was 8 yrs old & I saw a film of the Bolshoi Ballet's Swan Lake. It looked so graceful, I fell in love with it & wanted to be a ballerina (even though my parents couldn't afford to send me for lessons). When I was 33 yrs old I got to see a real live ballet at the Sydney Opera House. I was horrified to hear the dancers sound like a herd of elephants! So much for being graceful! 😂
