Who was the first male player to win five Wimbledon singles titles in the Open Era of professional tennis?

Norfolk Enchants, I think a set can only run to about 12 games now , so if there is no player with the necessary 2 game lead at that point, a sixth set can be played. I vaguely recall a set that ran to about 23 games around that era . I could be wrong.
