Suez canal connects the Mediterranean sea tothe Red sea. No oceans involved.

Mediterranean is not the same as Atlantic

Mediterranean Sea is not the Atlantic ocean and the canal connects the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea.

Should be from Indian Ocean to Somalia's amd Djibouti's coast to Red Sea to Mediterranean Sea. The Strait of Gibraltar allows us to pass through from Atlantic to Mediterranean or Mediterranean to Atlantic Ocean
