Where does the world's largest and oldest ultramarathon race called "the Comrades Marathon" take place?

My friend Peter Taylor runs this and other ultra marathons barefoot, sporting a backpack in which he collects funds for guide dog training. He is the toughest human with the biggest heart!

Nick, my cousin Hazel Moller did a similar thing, running the Ten-10, so 10 comrades length marathons all the way down from Germiston to Pmb or Durbs, the 10th being the Comrades itself. She did this 4 or5 years to collect for a dog shelter too.

This is a really tough run. Worth a try though

Friends of mine who have run the race multiple times have said that the downhill run is harder than the uphill run!!!
