Why does a McDonald's restaurant in Sedona, Arizona have a turquoise rather than a golden arch?
Correct answer: Not to be contrasting too much against the scenic red rock

LuckyDoge875, I work there several times a year and it is an absolute zoo of tourists and poor city planning. The saddest thing is how destroyed the trails and camping areas are from over-use and ignorant users. Leave no trace folks!

I was just there, love Sedona, but like anywhere else in Az. my home for 67 years, is Way to crowded now. Shame, couldn't keep this little gem a secret.

I think that they should have used the word "clash"
The turquoise doesn't clash with the pink as much as yellow would.

Ash, I don't see how turquoise is less contrasting against red than yellow
