What is renewable energy called?

Carol, Carol, Carol ! It's an industry and as such the 'people ' will never own it. It has a high carbon footprint, all those panels (requiring heavy metal mining and we haven't even started producing the batteries which require even more) and turbines need replacing regularly and all countries need to build infrastructure to harness what is currently unreliable generation. We are just starting to find out just how expensive being green is going to be. Right now those countries with geothermal and nuclear are lucky.

Can option #5 be Unaffordable Energy ?
