Prince Joseph: if you want to read The count of Monte Christo you need to read the others too, his adventure books weaves into one another, you have characters in both The count of Monte Christo and the Three Musketeers and others so read them all, I'm sure you have seen the three musketeers on film there has been a number of them icer the years also the man in the iron mask is a very good read the movie too. if you like history and historical movies with a bit of a liberal artistic freedom they are good it all depends what version you choose to watch.
