actually a peacock. the male has the plumage. Peahen is a female with brown plumage

pea fowl, never heard of it being referred as that before, it's always been a peacock to me

There used to be one that lived in the nature reserve behind our house in Australia. Sadly, have not seen it for some years. Our cat was scared of it. It used to hang about in our front and back yard.

tia, I know of a couple of farms where they live, along with guinea fowl and rheas.

In UK they are traditionally kept at stately homes
