It is bubble and squeak in England.
I have a batch in my freezer right now.
Simple recipe.
Mashed potato (with milk and butter) mix with any cooked vegetables (not just cabbage)
I usually use carrots, onions, broccoli, green beans, anything really.
It was first developed by thrifty British housewives, anxious not to waste food.😀
