Wdym count? Whats the point

I don't admire counting food calories. it will much better to focus on metabolism, avoiding food integredients, supplements, preservatives, taste balancers if they are unhealthy, difficult to digest food. Also, we shouldn't be confused with food calories ( maybe different for different persons) with too much excess fat, ( carbs, etc).
