In which country are The Academy Awards annually held?

RottieMom1023, I agree to a point, but when you see bad acting, directing or editing, you realize how good the good ones are. A football player who runs a little way and sometimes catches the pass making huge amounts of money is more obscene, I think.

In my opinion, it's a terrible tradition that glorifies our entertainment based culture.

United States has some of the best actors and actresses.. acting is not easy they deserve these awards.. P
