Vinegar is not a 2. Hydrochloric acid from your stomach is around 2. If vinegar were a 2, it would burn your hand if you touched it, and start dissolving any food you mixed it in.

YoungAtHeart, not every thing you read on the internet is true. I've come across several incorrect statements that were the result of indiscriminate use of cut-and-paste.

mikhawk317, I wouldn't have thought it either, but per the internet, vinegar has a pH of around 2.5.
