My two cats have different meows, if they want a treat, talking to them selves, clicking at birds etc. now that I think about it they can make a lot of sounds.

I got 1 cat,,, then it becomes 4,,and now they're 12...they got different ways to get me and have my attention... So adorable and I love them so much.... All of them were rescued cats too,,, and not to mention the other stray cats which I feed every time they shows up my doorstep,.. Everyday...

I watched mama cat speak to her kittens on several occasions. She used different vocalizations & the kittens responded differently with each one. I.E. once they came running, once they strolled over & once they acknowledged but stayed where they were. Pretty amazing.

I've had dozens of cats over the years and without exception, they have all called milk "brrrow". For a while I thought I had taught them to say it, but they have all called it that all by themselves. And yes, I know cats shouldn't be given milk. I buy them lactose - free milk or A2, and they only get it as a treat - it doesn't form part of their regular diet.

Guillermo, Those sounds are something I heard first the first time in the past year. I was surprised when I found out what the "noise" was. Learning something new every day. I'll be 71 in February.
