Player Say what!?
I'm so glad to be old enough to remember those early days well. In the 6th grade when I watched in absolute wonderment at their appearance on Ed Sullivan. Their talent and charisma will never be matched.

Player #73338137, it was the biggest wave of new music, style, AND charisma that swept the modern world. "Beatlemania", you had to live it, to understand it! I so grateful to have done so! And John Lennon was the most talented and forward thinker of the group. Maybe a bit kooky, too. Saw them in concert three times, screaming and crying all the way through, cause that's what you did. You had to be there, it was unBeatleble!!

I was a young bride when the #1, came out. I bought it and wore it out on my record player. I knew every word. I am 82, now but still a fan.

Was definitely in the Beatles time, as a teenager.

Artie
I knew this because I watched the Beatles on Sunday night on Ed Sullivan and they did I Want To Hold Your Hand. The very next day after school my dad took me to Sam Goody and he bought the 45 for me. I was so excited.

Mmmmm
Player Say what!?, You said it!! Saw the Beatles three times in concert! And caught everything they were in. Does anyone remember the TV version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream ", they did? Wish I had a copy of that, it was Hilarious!!

Player, Today’s music is good but music of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s was and IS superior…

Mr_Have_Fun
Mmmmm, Yes, definitely those were the days…Never we will se their likes again, geniuses and on their own too. In my comment I made errors but here I believe you will get and feel my heart…I like that unBeatable…

Player Say what!?, Me too, I’ll never forget my dad’s reaction, them guys wear their hair long and that is not music, it is cat cries. Today my dad is in a Nursing Home and listens to instrumental versions of the Fab Four, he knows what he said in the past…Dad and I laugh…Yup, there will be a group of their likes again…I am glad I am from the era…Music is not of the caliber of the 60s and 70s. You all take care, now.

Player Say what!?, they weren’t as good as the Kim sisters, who appeared on the Ed Sullivan show a record 22 times.

I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and am a huge Beatles fan, so I better get that one right. I like their later albums the best as they explored new ways of making music. They were also the first rock band to be appreciated as composers in the classical music industry by using their instruments other than guitars and drums only.

They had a Saturday morning cartoon with their songs. Since then, I became a fan for life!
