It's absolutely magnificent! You have to plan to visit Vatican City if you're ever in Rome. Words just can't describe the awe you'll feel inside the chapel.

I saw the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel with my family. As we and fellow tourists were quietly and reverently murmuring at the beauty of Michelangelo's work, the security guards there were bellowing "Silence! No photos!" Maybe someone should have told the guards to lower their voices.

NLadybug, mine too, just looking at it in photos it looks magnificent I just can’t imagine seeing it in person. The artists of today can not come near the beauty and care the artist of centuries ago.
