My favorite song by John Fogarty is "Center field." Also, the Rolling Stones is not an American group.

pretty cool considering the Fogerty's lived in California and probably never had seen a bayou yet ..

Revival in CCR. Look closely at the words to Have You Ever Seen the Rain. There's a storm coming called judgement day. And when it's done, the Reign will be "shining down like water."
The second verse also tells a story. Since when is the sun cold? "On judgment day, the Son will be cold indeed and the Reign of Jesus will be hard on the wicked with no desire to change." And it can't stop. Have you ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day?

You should consider this: Revival is a church related term. In the song, "Who'll Stop the Rain," one of the Ines is, "Good men through the ages, all trying to find the Sun..." a rabbit can look up in the sky and find the Sun. I believe the good men were looking for the Son of God. "And I wonder, still I wonder, who'll stop the rain?" Nobody can stop the water coming down and nobody can stop the reign of Jesus Christ.
