IOANNHS, yes, that's right.
Alexander the Great went to meet Diogenes during his visit in Athens. He wanted to ensure that the residents of Athens and Thebes would not retaliate during his absence in Persia. Alexander was taught about Diogenes from his teacher Aristotle and admired him.
When they met, Alexander stood over where Diogenes was sitting and introduced himself as the ruler of Macedonia and said with regal pride: "Whatever you want I can give it to you, all you have to do is ask".
And then Diogenes the Cynic replied with apathy: " Step aside, you are blocking my sun 😎"
Amazing philosopher, it's worth reading about him!

King Yergat, I was also surprised to read that Diogenes was born in Sinop, Turkey! I guess the author meant that he was born in Sinop, a city of now days the country of Turkey. Of course in 5th century BC that was part of ancient Greece ☺️

So you're saying that Turkey was established as a state in 412BC? Perhaps this explanation needs some historical fact checking.
