People seem to have forgotten about the atrocities committed by Japan during WWII. My great-uncle served in the USMC and spent almost 2 yrs in a Japanese death camp on the island of Bataan (Phillipines). My grandma would infrequently tell the story of our heroic uncle and how he was never quite the same. To say uncle Tony cherished his freedom is an understatement!

Danielle, agree 100%, it was terrible but necessary to end the Japanese war of aggression, just ask any of the mutilated or raped survivors of Nanking.

The atrocities this man was part of are absolutely evil. So many psychopaths & sociopaths were in charge in different countries; on all sides, Axis & Allies alike, during that war that reach through the years up to present day & into the future; no matter how long or short that possible future may be.
