TAMTAM, Ellen DeGeneres did not "take over" for Diane Fosse. Ellen spent a small portion of her millions to have a building built (tax deduction). Diane Fosse dedicated her entire life to the gorillas, then she died for them. It's a long, long way from one to the other.
