Which bird is the national bird of Denmark?

I used to feed the swans at Forest Lawn cemetery as a kid. One day a lady came, wearing open toed shoes. A swan seemed to think that her toes were some kind of bug and tried to catch one. The lady nearly fell into the pond. The swan decided to try somewhere else.
