Which one is called "laughing gas"?

And thank God for the guy that invented it!! Teeth pulled…ouchhh!

I remember Steve Martin in the movie, ‘The Little Shop Of Horrors’, as the dentist in which he used laughing gas on himself before he pulled teeth!😂

Grey Panther, I worked as a dental assistant and I never seen it make anyone laugh. Never understood why they called it Laughing Gas. In fact it is used to relax you when the needle numbs up your gums. After you are really relaxed, the dentist turns down the gas and turns up the oxygen. The gas is never given straight. It is always mixed and controlled with oxygen.

The bad news is that it's addictive

I have had close to 22 come surgeries, including bone grafts and gum grafts. I have chronic periodontal disease and sometimes I used nitrous oxide. Mostly they did not allow it, because they were working in the front area of my mouth. Need I say more?The pain that I have endured during these procedures was mind-boggling.

My daughter loved going to the dentist because she got to experience it.

When I was a kid out dentist used it when we had to have fillings done. Maybe that's why I have no fear of going to the dentist.
