How many people can't digest milk?
Correct answer: 60%
Nutshell
It should specify adults because obviously all mammals are born with the ability to digest milk, or we wouldn't exist.

Shaherizad, You are right. Historically humans stopped drinking milk once they are weaned from their mother's milk at about age 2 or 3. Over time humans would stop making lactase, the enzyme that breaksdown lactose, the milk sugar, because they no longer consumed milk. However, with refrigeration humans can drink milk into adulthood and continue to produce lactase.

Seems the answer to these Level 3 questions is always the one that seems most unlikely.

Weird that in my life I have never met any of the 60% of people that are lactose intolerant!

Longarms, it’s because it’s not our milk! We aren’t baby cows. 🤔
