The film "Stand By Me" is based on a novella by which author?

One of my all time favourite films.

This novella and his novel "It" are based on the same event in King's childhood when he and his friends found a body.

Walking on the railway bridge with the train coming at full speed is one of the most frightening and suspenseful part of the film. A good script made into a great film. Bravo to Stephen King!

Cookie Bean, most of it was filmed in and around Brownsville, OR, a small town not too far from where I live!

I cannot hear this movie's title without thinking of the brilliant actor, River Phoenix's death of a drug overdose at the age of 23.

One of the best King adaptations. Reiner did a brilliant job.

Rob Reiner borrowed “two fer flinchin” from an All in the Family episode. It was a thing Archie’s old army buddy did.

The movie is much better than the novella!
