From the name of which product did the disease botulism get its name?

I doubt it's a problem today, but if a can of food is bulging, it's due to botulism.

And yet people voluntarily have these injections frequently. Botox, as we understand it, is botulism. Some use it for vain reasons & others as a medical use for migraines.
