Where is the historical city of Tallinn?

I wish the US would stop remodeling every public building and let the historic architecture stand.

I’ve been there a couple of times. It is fairytale-like. You feel like you are stepping back in time. Just beautiful!

If that was Vegas, it would have been torn down and replaced 2999 years ago!

TestyAlien3443, The problem with that is that many cultures all over the world did not keep "records" of themselves and the world around them. Many used only the spoken word and throughout time have been lost. There are many civilizations we have yet to find and learn from.

Judi, Yes, I agree. But I think some states like, Massachusetts is a good example of historic preservation.

Fredrico, you seem to forget that there were people living on the American continents for many hundreds of years, they have their histories and don't ram them down everyone's throats

Fredrico, To me it is just a given that the rest of the world is so much older. The Americas were the last to be settled by modern civilization. When I think of USA as being 250 years old and Bible archeology probably starting 4500 years ago, there is no comparison.
