How long can snails sleep for?

Are we sure this is snails , not teenagers?

What amount of sleep do they normally have? What is the life span of a garden snail? I feel some research coming on!

"as glamorous as it may sound"? Who thinks it's glamorous to sleep for 3 years? 😜

I wish they wouldn’t eat as much when they wake up, then I’d have more Strawberries and Lettuce in the garden!

Some marine snails can hibernate, too. Trumpet snails can sleep in aquarium strata removed from a tank for quite a long time.
