What was Albert Einstein’s IQ?
Correct answer: There wasn't a proper test to measure his IQ

Player #33161631
504native, quoting numbers is pointless as there are several methods of calculation with different calibrations, so akin to boasting the temperature of boiling water is higher in Fahrenheit than for Celcius.
In any case, IQ is a measurement of brain speed not intellectual ability or character. I'm a member of Mensa with an IQ 'greater' than 99% of the population. It means I can leap to the wrong conclusion faster than almost anyone else.
As others have said, there are more useful traits than being quick-witted.

Jo Aldridge, Knowing exactly when, to whom, in what way, and to what extent to be kind is an integral part of being intelligent. Kindness doesn't have to be at odds with smartness.

Jo Aldridge, I 👍agree.

Jo Aldridge, I agree

I REMEMBER READING THAT EINSTEIN SAID ITS MORE I.PORTANT TO USE YOUR IMAGINATION THAN TO BE SUPER INTELLIGENT. I TBINK HE WAS RIGHT. LOOK HOW MANY THINGS WE HAVE THAT WERE INVENTED BY IMAGINtion.

CyanJaguar62
toe jam, I think Jeopardy is more about the ability to recall facts quickly than true intelligence.

I can’t help it..& certainly no disrespect for Einstein but that photo reminds me of Peter Sellers in The Pink Panther episode where he inhaled laughing gas as a Dentist! 🤪😂

Coo
Player #33161631, I am also a Mensa member (IQ148) and I completely agree with you about it being entirely down to the processing speed of the brain. It certainly doesn't make me in any way better than any other person.

Coo
Big M, That is sad that this is your experience. I am practical, regularly get told off for using common sense too much and have an almost encyclopaedic breadth of knowledge (I am told and no one wants to play Trivial Pursuit with me 😕)

Hunger Knowledge
There wasn't a proper measurement to his intellectuals?? How do we determine how intelligent he was ?

pat
CyanJaguar62, I think the Jeopardy superstars have photographic memories

I've heard that IQ in general is going down worldwide. I do wonder if that is so and what would cause it. There does seem to be a possible dumbing down effect going on.

ken
i believe his iq is high. even there's a report that children has a higher iq than him, his contribution to the development of modern technology is much more helpful

Mayo420ChiBears
i don't know I just smoked a foil and I'm pretty spun.

DHYANI 🌼
I really didn't know but I just guessed. Thank god 🤣

Big M
In my experience, a very high IQ is at odds with practicality, common sense and breadth of knowledge.

The man is very old 🧓

best, I don't think it's a brag. He/she just stated the fact, if it's true. There's nothing wrong with stating the fact.

Doty
I wished to answer any question about him as Albert Einstein is my idol.

Floraxcent
I thought Mr , Einstein IQ is 180!

toe jam
I would like to know the numbers of the jeopardy game show contestants.

Kan
Ali *Regulus* Mirza, absolutely agreed 👍

Kristoff
His IQ is 160

Bonnie , and his nose melts :-)

Peg
IQ is nothing more than showing that some people are better at answering questions than others.

I don't think that's what some of the answers on this particular site previously insinuated

baymax
Alî 'Regulus' Mîrza, I think it's more to do with empathy than kindness, I still agree with her though!

baymax
Jo Aldridge, so would, I thank you Jo!

Player #25874027
504native, That would be difficult if the maximum is 160.
Unless you’re using a different scale which would be pointless if it’s not the recognised standard

Player #33161631, Hi, fellow Mensa. I'm in the "higher than 99%" group myself. I joined Mensa in '79 and have never been to a meeting...expected I'd be the dimmest bulb there.
