Which of these association football team members can be identified by wearing an armband?

I played this sport (soccer/fùtbol) up until the semi pro level here in the U.S., back in the early 80's. Whenever I see the comments about this it makes me think "what's the big deal"? Life has many obstacles/ difficulties and this subject is insignificant in the big picture of life. So Americans (and Canadians) have a sport called football, so what!

Football is a very different game in North America than it is Europe.

Knodel1966, One more time down this repeat comment way. We all know the disdain the world seems to have towards us regarding this game. It certainly is brought up enough. We call it Soccer, because we can.
