In Cajun cuisine, what crustaceans are often referred to as "mudbugs"?

We have crayfish in Australia but they are sometimes called rock lobster and they do not have claws. We also have yabbies, marron and a few others which are fresh water crayfish.

all those names are so unappetizing.

I prefer a Sea Roach boil out-over-down-yonder in these parts.

Deeznuts, saw them in a salad bar in Alabama, I would never eat them, but they look cute.

I have tried them in NEW ORLEANS, excellent in some many dishes!!!

Around here, we use them for bait, never eat them.
