I absolutely love puffins but I have never seen one in the flesh so to speak when on boat trips to see them off of the Cornish coast It's on my bucket list

Player #37787715, I saw Puffins in the feather for the first time in 2009 on a cruise of the Inside Passage to Alaska. Got some amazing pics of them flying close by the ship, it was awesome! I hope you get to see them one day too.

Try the Treshnish Islands to the west of the Isle of Mull in the Hebrides. Visit in July and you'll picnic in amongst them as they land beside you and waddle to their burrows.

i only knew this because of holidaying close to puffin island off Anglesey and I literally did not know any other types of puffins existed. I heard they are quite brutal litlle killers....circle of life n all that!!
