Which type of tourism involves travelling to places historically associated with death and tragedy?

May not be everyone's "cup of tea" per, but, most of the "Dark Tourism" is "right up our alley!" Very educational & sometimes beautiful also. Don't knock it, until you try it with an objective mind, always an objective mind.

You can visit Aghdam, Azerbaijan. Most visiters call the city a madern Hiroshima. The city was totally ruined during the occupation.

I wonder what makes some people tick?

Gizmo, history repeats itself through human ego. If we can try understand the who, what, why, where, when, the impact, and the outcome; we maybe able to steer clear of making the same mistakes time and again!
